What we do
Delivering Quality and Efficiency.
Over the past 70 years Williamson Tool and Engineering have been involved in building special purpose machines for various industries. Some of these projects include the supply and manufacture of a flying tube shear for the steel process industry. We have also taken great pride since our existence in supplying and manufacturing expanding and collapsing mandrels for holding up to 25,000kg rolls of steel for customers such as Bluescope and BHP. See photo 1 and 2.
As we have continued to invest in our equipment we have eliminated the need for hand finishing of the contact faces. This has allowed us to be able to offer our customers high accuracy at a reduced cost. We are also able to finish products and deliver more efficiently, greatly eliminating the need for hand finishing. (Photo 3 is of our 4th axis mill that is programmable within 1/1000th of a degree. The job in the photo is a compressor rotor a customer asked us to reverse engineer from a worn sample because a replacement part was no longer available due to its age.)
We are able to offer a large range of services from small, medium and large milling, boring and turning. We are confident we have one of the best if not the best and most diversified workshops in Australia. Our modern and up to date machines capacities are complimented by our experienced operators plus we can also offer checking and measuring of components, CAD CAM services we have some of the leading software. It is great to help reverse engineer components that can no longer be sourced from original manufactures. We offer these services and have been complimented by our customers on price, turn around and quality.
The company philosophy reads ‘Quality on Time’, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Williamson Tool & Engineering Pty Ltd can also assist in the correct selection of steels and materials for specific projects, as well as professional advice on the most efficient manufacturing techniques and procedures.
